Mother’s Day is coming up and what better way to have the children in your class show their moms that they love them than to write a few words that describe them. Simply print out the blank acrostic poem and have the children fill out the words that start with the letters of the word “MOTHER”.

For example: M = Marvelous, magnificent; O = observant; T = teaches, trains, tickles; etc. You can print this out on colorful paper or have the children glue it onto construction paper. Have fun with this simple activity that is sure to bring a smile to each mother’s face.
