Bible Crafts for Teaching on The Temptation of Christย
Faith Focus Firstโฆand Always! Positive Reminders to Dwell
Young children might not easily understand the concept of temptationโฆthey donโt always have the same temptations as adults, but certainly still sometimes fall sway to doing what they shouldnโt. The focus, then, is to communicate to kids how important it is to focus on positive things. These crafts aim to do just that. One is a โtarget practiceโ dart game, meant to distract young minds from negative elements and re-direct attention to things of God. The other craft is a simple vehicle for holding and keeping Bible verses, to remember that Godโs Word is the true โbreadโ of our lives.

But (Jesus) answered,ย โIt is written,
โโMan shall not live by bread alone,
ย ย ย ย but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.โโ -Matthew 4:4Jesus said to them,ย โI am the bread of life;ย whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. -John 6:35
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.ย
