Crafts on God’s Promise to Abraham: Use these lesson activities in your Sunday School or Children’s Ministry when teaching the Story of Abraham for kids. Use the download link below for the directions and watch the video demonstration as you prepare this craft activity for your teaching.

Look at all those stars!  Craft Ideas for God’s Covenant with Abraham: It is a blessing to know that God has given us promises and will always be faithful to keep them. In Genesis, He promised Abraham that his descendants would outnumber the stars in the sky. These crafts recall that beautiful covenant with star-themed elements. A “galaxy jar” uses glitter to represent starry constellations. Splatter paint shows a fun “sky” with a unique technique. And a “constellation collage” uses a variety of stars to celebrate the story and promises of the Lord’s love.

Bible Verses or Craft Activity Captions to Consider…
(Main Text: Genesis 15:1-15)

And behold, the word of the Lord came to him: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.” 5 And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 6 And he believed the Lord, and he counted it to him as righteousness.  -Genesis 15:4-6
