We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new project, Sunday School Plus, a platform designed with the heart and soul of small churches in mind. Over the past 15 years, since the inception of our ministry to children, we have been continuously innovating to find the most effective and easy-to-teach lesson formats. Our mission has always been to support small churches and teachers who often struggle with time constraints and budget limitations when preparing for their lessons. We believe that our new platform will be a significant blessing to many churches.
What is Sunday School Plus?
Sunday School Plus is a weekly subscription service that provides brand new, easy-to-teach lesson plans. These plans are ready to print and teach, simplifying the process for teachers and making it incredibly user-friendly. But we understand that flexibility is key in teaching, so we’ve also included a backup option for each month. This means that if you want to deviate from the lectionary lesson for a week, or even take a break for a month, we’ve got you covered. We are adding a second themed unit each month, in addition to the dated lessons, to provide you with a variety of teaching materials.
What Can You Expect from Our Lesson Plans?
Our lesson plans, which many of you may already be familiar with from the Sunday School Store, are available in NIV, ESV, and King James versions. Each week, you will receive a Bible lesson based on the church calendar, typically focusing on The Gospel reading and sometimes the Old Testament.
The lesson plans come with an object lesson, games and activities, main Bible teaching, and craft activities. We also provide a video where Kristen breaks down the crafts, or you can simply print the sheet and work through it at your own pace. Each lesson plan also includes a Bible verse, a memory verse for the week, a coloring page, and a crossword puzzle. Essentially, we’ve got everything you need to engage a mixed group of children in your Sunday school every week.
A Community Like No Other
One of the unique features of Sunday School Plus is the community module. This feature allows you to connect with other teachers who are using the same lessons, share ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback. We also have a prayer room where we encourage people to share their hearts with one another and pray for each other. We are planning to roll out more features soon, including challenges and online Zoom meetups where we can discuss the lessons or anything else that’s on your mind.
A Treasure Trove of Resources
In addition to the new lessons, we also provide a backup of 52 weeks of Bible lessons from previous weeks, all gathered together in a Dropbox. This means you’ll have access to a year’s worth of lessons right at your fingertips.
Affordable and Accessible
Sunday School Plus is not just a new program; it’s a new website and a membership platform. We are launching it at an incredibly affordable price of just nine dollars a month, making it accessible for everyone involved in children’s ministry.
